Craig E Fleishman, MD

Director, Non-Invasive Cardiac Imaging, Congenital Heart Institute at Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital, Orlando, Florida.

 

Dr. Fleishman is the director of non-invasive cardiac imaging for the Congenital Heart Institute at Arnold Palmer Hospital and Miami Children’s Hospital. He received his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine and completed his pediatric residency and chief residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He completed his pediatric cardiology and pediatric echocardiography training at Duke University Medical Center and is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology.

 

He has served on the pediatric cardiology faculty at Boston Children’s Hospital where he was involved in the research and development of three-dimensional echocardiography. He has served as the director of interventional echocardiography at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Heart Center in Columbus, Ohio where he was involved in the development of hybrid therapeutic approaches to congenital heart disease.

 

Dr. Fleishman is a Fellow in the American College of Cardiology and a Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography. He has lectured and published on three-dimensional echocardiography, interventional echocardiography, and the role of echocardiography in hybrid procedures. He serves on the peer review boards for Circulation, the Journal of the American Society of Echocardiography, and the American Heart Journal.
